So, I know I haven't been on for a few days, and I am really proud to say that yesterday my mother in law wanted to go to costco with me and I am really happy to say that I walked out of there with only 2 items, and both of which I needed!! Batteries and a mop.
Friday we went out and bought our Wii, its so much fun, now I just want to save up for a Wii fit so I can really start exercising.
I still haven't eaten fast food, well, I take that back, I ate at Captain D's with my mom on wednesday and truth be told, I didn't enjoy it at all, all I tasted was grease and salt. Can't believe my taste buds have changed that much in a couple of weeks, its getting much easier to dismiss my cravings for something more satisfying that I can make at home. Only problem is that sometimes I find myself devouring candy, which of course is not good, so im learning to work on that too.
My dad got a bonus from his work friday and he gave us the money to get two tires and an alignment done on our car and quite honestly, I felt defeated about it, still do kinda, but he told me that I should ask around and he would pretty much guarantee that any newlyweds with parents that can help have accepted help from them, so I shrugged my shoulders and said thank you. I know I know, maybe I should have not bought the Wii and paid for the tires, but I get so frustrated and torn between what has to be done and what we want, and that was probably a stupid decision and most likely why I feel guilty.
Just finished looking through the paper, think I will go to Target later this week to pick up paper towels, they have them on sale and I think I might have some coupons too, gotta check though.
Well, I'm going to go make some lunch with hubby. Talk to you all later.
Thanks again for all the support.

So recently, well, for a while I have been wanting to get into some sort of crafting. Back in highschool I used to make homemade cards and I liked it, I just couldn't concentrate on it. So yesterday I was supposed to buy a pair of shoes that were being held at a store, only they were not the right ones so I didn't buy them, they would have been about $25 bucks. So I went to Michaels in an effort to squelch my creative side for less than 25 dollars. I have been on ADD meds for about 4 months now and it makes a world of difference in how long I can work on something. I bought two cardmaking kits and got 6.00 off with a 40% coupon. I have made about 16 cards and they are sooo cute! I can't wait to get more stuff to make more, but I know I won't until I get rid of these, not sure what to do with them all now that they are made!
I still can't wait to get my Wii on friday!! I'm excited!!
Right now I am suffering from a migraine/sinus headache and I think I am going to go and lie down and see if I can get rid of it and something smells like feet in my office....i can't figure it out. I have a kink/knot in my back and can't wait to go to the chiropractor tomorrow.
Anywho, thats all for now, must get rid of my headache before my nieces come over for the evening, Katherina is almost 5 and Brianna is almost 2.
Talk to you tomorrow hopefully, and thanks for all the wonderful welcomes and comments.

I've never really blogged before but I'll give it a try.
I guess I should start out by giving you a little bit of history. At age 18 I got my first credit card....bad idea. I maxed it out, partially because I had freedom to do what I wanted with it, but also because I had uncontrolled Bipolar disorder and while in a manic state I spent lots of money. Then I got another credit card and luckily that one only had a very small credit limit. I had gone to college and then dropped out leaving me with a lot of student loans, the bipolar had left me in and out of hospitals and doctors offices, I wasn't even 21 yet and was drowning in debt. However, one of the medications I was given for the bipolar, also gave me diabetes, and because of that I was part of a class action lawsuit in which resulted I got a settlement of 85,000.00 that I used to pay off all debt and purchase a used car through my husbands company, a rental car company who sells very nice gently used cars.
Several months later my bipolar was again uncontrolled and well, lets just say all the credit cards were once again maxed out, and have since been paid down yet again with a home equity loan from our first house, and yet they are uncontrolled and maxed out again, BUT are cut up, gone, closed and no longer able to be used.
Last year, I drew up a budget and discovered with a heavy heart that so much of our money was going towards debt and I despised myself for doing that to us. So, I came up with a household budget, as well as a savings plan to save money for home repairs or what have you, AND pay off debt. Currently we are able to put 400 dollars a month towards debt, after the finance charges. All in all, we have less than 8000 dollars in debt.
Right now, and for the last 2 years, we have been wanting a Wii, and we are finally getting one this week, I have been saving for it and I am so excited I can hardly stand it. It feels good to have earned something. I really want it so I can use the Wii fit and incorporate it into my healthier lifestyle I am trying to pursue, like cutting out fast food, I have been good for 2 weeks now and it feels good.
I have finally learned the value of a dollar and I hope that being only 24 I have learned it soon enough.
I am glad to be a part of this community and look forward to hearing from you. I can't promise i will write everyday but i will try. Thank you so much!!
